Anritsu X-Ray Inspection Machine KD7305ABW

X-ray Inspection System

This X-ray Inspection System uses low-energy X-rays to rapidly detect contaminants in foods and sends a rejection signal to a rejector. In addition, it can also detect missing products in packed foods.

Detectable contaminants
Metal, glass, stone, hard bone, natural rubber, high-density plastics However, it may not detectable depending
n physical properties of checked products.

Non-detectable contaminants
Hair, bugs, cartilage, wood, paper, textiles, low-density plastics

Principles of Detection
A narrow beam of X-rays radiated from an X-ray tube is radiated through the products carried on a conveyor to an X-ray detector. The X-ray beam passes through the products and its power is measured by an X-ray detector installed under the conveyor.

The level of the X-rays is low when there is a product on the conveyor and high when there is no product on the conveyor. When a contaminant is present in a product, the level of the X-rays is lower than the level of an uncontaminated product. When there is a missing product, the level is higher than when there is a product.

Features
1. This inspection system can detect contaminants in packaged products as well as in aluminum retort pouches, aluminum sealed containers and aluminum cans.
2. SUS304 with a diameter of more than 0.5 mm can be detected.
3. This inspection system detects contaminants with the belt speed of 90 m/minute.
4. The contaminant position can be confirmed on an inspection screen.
5. Missing products can also be detected simultaneously with contaminants.

The KD7305ABW is used to detect contaminants in unpackaged bulk products, such as meat, fish, etc., when X-ray leakage prevention curtains cannot be used.
Features:
1. Short length (1570 mm)
2. Less than 1 µSv/h X-ray leakage (without X-ray leakage prevention curtains)
3. IP66-compliant conveyor
4. 50-mm detection height and 240-mm detection width (KD7305ABW)

THE PPN ADVANTAGE

Fully serviced

Production ready

Backed by warranty

We supply our used machinery fully serviced, production ready and backed by warranty. This is included in our initial quotation.

Every piece of equipment is put under a demanding inspection before delivery. Our inspection covers mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and cosmetic checkpoints.
The unit is fully serviced to meet high mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and cosmetic standards. Missing or damaged components are repaired or replaced.
Used machinery is backed by a standard 3-month warranty.

Terms and Conditions:
  • Warranty includes mechanical and electrical parts, but excludes electronic parts (for example, touch screens, servo drives and PLCs).
Our machinery is delivered compliant with the Australian AS 4024 Safety of Machinery Standards. Our engineering team is experienced in assessing machine safety and bringing machinery in line with AS 4024 by installing guards, ergonomic features and safety features like emergency stop controls.

Provide your product and our engineers will conduct a free trial run of your product. You can either be present, or we can send you video of the trial.

Terms and Conditions:
  • While this trial run is free of charge, any modifications or change parts are billable.
  • Trial runs must be booked in advance.
You are welcome to trial a machine in your plant for 2 weeks (you will be required to pay for transport of the machine and a refundable holding deposit).

Terms and Conditions:
  • Trial of machinery is subject to Process Plant Network confirming the machine is suitable for your product.
  • Get your product to market with minimal upfront investment.
  • Pay off the machinery with the revenue it generates.
  • Rentals are 100% tax deductible and not listed as an asset on your company’s asset register.
  • Minimise risk. It’s no secret that new product failure rates in the grocery sector are extremely high. With Rent to Buy, companies will not be left with paying off idle machinery assets if a project proves to be unsuccessful.
How it works:
  • Available for single machines or complete turnkey systems
  • Start producing immediately with a small down-payment of 2 months rental
  • 6 to 18 month rental periods available
At the end of the rental period:
  • Buy the machine outright, deducting 50% of the rental you’ve already paid from the price of the machinery; or,
  • Keep renting the machinery; or,
  • Return the machinery with no more to pay.

We provide export crating, container loading and overseas freight services at additional cost.

For loose container load (LCL), we arrange an export crate using treated wood according to the machine size (to protect the machine from damage during transport) and crate the machine at our warehouse.

For full container load (FCL), we bring the empty container, load the equipment, and lash/secure them inside the container at our warehouse. We can then arrange either seafreight or airfreight to the customer's nominated destination sea/airports.

We usually arrange on the CFR (Cost and Freight) basis as per Incoterms.

Marine insurance, applicable local duties/taxes, custom clearance and delivery to customer's site in their destination country are to the customer's account.

We regularly provide this service for customers in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the USA and Asia.
