Electrical Shrink Oven
Model: 105 OVEN
Serial: MSN04918
Dimensions: 4900mm L x 1500mm W x 1900mm H

The model 105 shrink oven includes a free standing infra-red electronic oven with a split product conveyor system and controls. It is ideal for contour shrinking polymer label films onto food and beverage containers.

Operation:
A variable speed dual chain conveyor carries the containers between two opposed banks of infra-red elements. These elements are thermostatically controlled to provide the correct colour spectrum of infra-red for the optimum in shrinking capabilities. The combined adjustability of the conveyor speeds, upper and lower oven temperatures and the variable spectrums of infra-red makes the model 105 shrink oven extremely versatile in the types of applications which can be accomplished.

Label Materials
The model 105 shrink oven will effectively contour all commercially available shrink label materials including:
Polystyrene foam: 0.0004”- 0.012” calliper
Polystyrene film: 0.001”- 0.002” calliper
PVC film: 0.001”- 0.002” calliper
Polyester / P.E.T film: 0.001”- 0.003” calliper
Polyethylene film: all gauges
Polypropylene film: all gauges

Features:
- 2x Independently powered steel slat belt conveyers
- Belt width: 60mm each
- Current working height: 1305mm
- Current Electrical rating: 415VAC, 40A, 3~, 50Hz
- Belt Lengths: 4210mm & 4360mm
- 2x Motor: 415V, 0.9A, 0.50HP, 0.37kW, 50Hz made by Lesson.
- 2x Gearbox: Input-5HP, Output torque-163 inch-lbs, Ratio: 1:10
- Mounted on steel frames with screw rubber stands.
- 4x Heating elements wired as 2 pairs: 9.45kW @480V all controlled by two temperature controllers.
- Variable speed control for both conveyors – Spinning motion can also be achieved by a speed offset between the conveyors for even heat exposure.
- Length of the heating chamber: 2150mm
- Max Product dimensions: 127mm OD x 355mm H (note the belts are 60mm each)
- Documents provided: Operation & Service Manual, Installation guide, wiring diagrams.

As with all infra-red heat sources heat transfer to the ink used on the film will vary dependent upon the composition of the ink. Inks containing carbon black or metal flake will cause inconsistency of heat absorption and erratic label film shrinkage. These types of inks should be not used on a shrink label application.

Container Materials
Almost any shape of container in metal, glass or plastic can be accommodated. Metal and glass containers may be handled empty or full plastic containers do not normally have the thermal resilience of metal and glass so they should be conveyed through the oven after they are filled wherever possible.

Container size
The oven body is adjustable for height, but the conveyor width is fixed at 5 inches.
Normally to maintain an adequate clearance between the container and the heating elements maximum container dimensions which can be handled are 5 inches in diameter and 14 inches in height.

Note: Displayed temperature on controller is the heating element temperature and not the oven temperature.

We provide export crating, container loading and overseas freight services at additional cost.

For loose container load (LCL), we arrange an export crate using treated wood according to the machine size (to protect the machine from damage during transport) and crate the machine at our warehouse.

For full container load (FCL), we bring the empty container, load the equipment, and lash/secure them inside the container at our warehouse. We can then arrange either seafreight or airfreight to the customer's nominated destination sea/airports.

We usually arrange on the CFR (Cost and Freight) basis as per Incoterms.

Marine insurance, applicable local duties/taxes, custom clearance and delivery to customer's site in their destination country are to the customer's account.

We regularly provide this service for customers in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the USA and Asia.
